  • “This is a true story about overcoming the pitfalls of bad choices. I am an addict and as an addict, especially when you are struggling, you continually doubt yourself. So when I first decided to train with Steve I really did not know what I was getting into. But, it has turned out to be one of the most tremendous blessings of my life. I remember the first meeting I had with Steve before we started training. I was struggling with my addiction because of being accidentally served an alcoholic beverage on a family vacation. I did not go out and drink it up, but it brought on another addiction that had been in remission for years. I shared that with Steve in hopes that my decision to train would help assist me in overcoming my compulsive behavior. 

    Outside of my addiction, eating was my biggest hang up when it came to training. I always would come in and workout, but would eat horribly. I have never had a problem of gaining weight, so in turn, I would eat anything and everything. I would eat so much that I was always left feeling stressed, sick and weak! Steve had giving me a promise, that if I would trust in principles he would teach me, not only would it help me conquer my eating habits, but would give me the added strength to overcome my addictions. I ended up telling myself that I would give it my all and put these principles to the test.

    Steve put together a day-to-day diet to follow along with the an intense training regimen. It was very difficult to say the least because Steve expects the very best out of you. As time went on, I gained more and more strength. Not only physically, but mentally as well. I would see changes to my body that I have never seen before. I saw my abs for the first time since high school. I now had back muscles. My calves had striations. My overall look had improved dramatically. This was great, don’t get me wrong, but if paled in comparison to my mental improvement. I now can honestly say I have never felt so alive. I had so many people say “how long are you going to be on your diet?” I respond by saying, “never, this is no longer a diet, this is who I am.” I now no longer desire bad foods! My mind and body desire good, clean foods now and when things get stressful, I do not give into my weaknesses. 

    For the first time in years with the help of Steve, my desire to drink or give in to the other addictions have gone away as well. Steve is now not only my trainer, but he is my friend. I owe him so much for not treating me just as a client, but as a fellow brother who needed help.”

  • I was three months away from my 60th birthday. That alone was not the problem; it was feeling like I was approaching 80. Tired from the afternoon on - overweight, eating for lunch mostly hamburgers, fries and soda pop. Frustrated and disappointed in myself I was determined to stop growing old.

    My wife and I decided to join the gym and hired Steve as our trainer. We committed to six months. The rest, as they say, is history. We had made one of the very best decision of our life. 

    My attitude became hopeful and my energy substantially increased. My enthusiasm and excitement for life came back. I can honestly say I began to feel and act much better than I had for 10 or 15 years. 

    Steve first evaluated where I was physically. If there was any pain in the movement he adapted the program to meet my needs. I began to see muscles in my legs I had never seen. Pounds were being reduced. Fat went away and muscle was built. I worked up to 60 push ups - almost my age! I gained balance and coordination, neither of which were strong areas of mine before. My posture improved and i began standing straighter. I could see my belt again! I even had to move my pant size from a 40 to a 36!

    Steve always keeps the workouts interesting, instructive and encouraging. Pushing me forward, not allowing the “old age” excuse. Steve is very educated and professional and is always moving me forward with my fitness plan. 

    I began eating much better - very little ‘junk food’ - and actually liking it. Steve took into account all aspect of helping me reach my fitness goals and encouraging me to set new marks every 6 months.  

    LIfe’s ‘stuff’ gets in the way of working out from time to time, but 2 ½ years later my wife and I are still working with Steve. WE are feeling younger and excited to participate in many activities with our children and grandchildren. The financial investment is still the best money we are investing into our future.   • A new day has come! When I first met Steve I was disgusted with my body and very self-conscious of it, especially my legs. Ever since I could remember I would never wear shorts or skirts, unless I had to. I made a solid decision to commit myself to training hard and eating right over the next seven months, and boy was I ever rewarded!
